Teamwork
is imporatant to all and tonight we shall apply it to Auction Work Night.
THE MEDINA ROTARY CLUB AUCTION will be on Sunday, March 2, 2003 at the Rustic Hills
County Club. The Silent Auction
begins at 10:00 am and the Live Auction begins at 12:00 pm
Tonight we worked on the Auction. Don
Rossman has volunteered to be the co-chairman.
The Auction started years ago to raise money. It started as a White Elephant Sale. It has evolved now with many donated items and consignment
items.
Dan shared slides of last years event.
He also shared the 5 year history with us:
1998 - $12,000 raised
1999 - $16,000 raised
2000 - $13,800 raised
2001 - $11,500 raised
2002 - $14,900 raised.
Fliers were handed out for all to circulate as were the packets for
individuals to call upon businesses for donations. Dan has asked that the donations be complete within the next
4 weeks.
We ended the evening by
stuffing envelopes for the Auction. Remember,
many hands make light work, so mark your calendars for March 2nd.
