Do you want to learn more about Rotary?  Do you want to have some fun?  Are you going to be an officer or Avenue of Service Chair next year?  Do you hope to be one someday?  Then the District Conference is an opportunity for you.  You need to register by April 30th, so see Quine right away.  Don't make him call you, he knows where you live.

Highway Clean-up:  The following individuals did a great job on our first highway clean-up for this year:  Ken Tender, Ron Quine, Ruth Tender, Roy Harriger, Bob Baisch, John Jeandrevin, Hall Cary, Brian Feron, Kristin See, Cinzia Rolling, John Sobotincic, Bill Hauck, Dayne Wendling and Michelle Rogers.  Thirty-nine bags of trash were picked up!!  As John Jeandrevin advertised, they enjoyed a good breakfast at the Medina Diner, great company and conversation, a beautiful, warm sunny morning, and a pleasant walk as they accomplished their task.  We are grateful to all those who helped.

Service Opportunity:  On May 17th, we will be having a “Clean-up the Square Day" and clean-up at Camp Paradise.  Sign-up sheets will be circulating at the meetings.

Proposed New Member:  Rick Roush-Auto Dealer; proposed by Linda Radencic

Beehive Mailing:  If you would prefer to have your Beehive mailed to you, (at a cost of 50 cents per week to
cover postage and materials), please notify Michelle Rogers.
Volunteers needed for Project Munch:  May is already taken care of, but volunteer opportunities
are available for June.  The June dates are from Sunday, June 22 through Saturday, June 28.
There are two shifts- from 2 to 4 p.m. (Cooking and preparing the meal) and from 4- 6 p.m.
(Serving and cleaning up).  Anyone interested can see Kristin See to

 schedule their shift, or they
can call Sue at 330-722-6488

Fireside chat:  Rich Bidinger hosted a "Fireside Chat" on April 17th at Rustic Hills Country Club.  He explained how active our Club is and how we like to get our new members involved in projects as soon as possible.  He especially enjoys the camaraderie that our club shares.  Don Spickler shared how he became involved and the experiences he has had.  Bob Baisch told us how he was actually asked to be in Kiwanis, but due to a scheduling conflict ended up at a Rotarian.  Linda Radencic spoke about the support she received as a new member of the community and how it helped her to meet people.  Ron Quine expressed that he could never accomplish nearly as much as an individual as he does in the group and how gratifying it is for him.  Ben Hallock talked on how awesome Rotary is as a World Organization and all that it accomplishes.  Steve Klein said that when he visits other clubs how great it is to be associated with the Medina Club.

Benefit Golf Outing:  This year’s Golf Outing will be held on June 16th at Fox Meadows.  The cost is $140 to participate and it will be a scramble format.  The committee is now planning and working hard.  Ask Linda Radencic what you can do to help.

THE FOUR WAY TEST

“Of the things we think, say or do:

First - Is it the Truth?

Second - Is it Fair to all Concerned?

Third - Will it build Goodwill and Better Friendships?

Fourth - Will it be Benefitical to all Concerned
